Is Global Entry Really Worth It?

When you think of the airport what initially comes to mind? Super long lines at security? People everywhere rushing to their flights or checking bags? Will I make my flight ontime? Which gate am I supposed to go to? It's rarely happy thoughts when people think about going to the airport. 

I'm here to work some magic and change your mind! What if you could skip those lines and walk into the airport feeling at ease? Makes traveling even more fun, trust me!! So how can you relax at the airport without getting there 4 hours ahead of time? That's easy - Global Entry.

TSA Precheck is a little easier to obtain and gives you a fast pass through security, whereas Global Entry costs $15 more, gets you a fast pass through security, AND (the best part in my opinion) fast tracks you through US Customs when returning home from international travel. That last part is worth Global Entry all in itself when you are taking a luxury travel vacation. Standing in line at customs on the last leg of your trip is the last thing you'll want to do after an amazing VIP Travel Experience.

When I was at the airport a couple weeks ago I was amazed and so relieved to have Global Entry. I easily breezed through security in minutes instead of the hour and half wait other travelers experienced. I truly believe I would have missed my flight without TSA Precheck (one of the many great benefit of Global Entry).
Pro Tip: Check with your credit card company, some credit cards may reimburse you for the application fee of Global Entry.
