Explora's first ship started sailing this year and the company has plans to add new ships to its fleet over the next few years. While the concept of luxury cruising is not new, Explora hopes to take a different approach.
Explora cruises offer a blend of of European flair mixed with simple luxury. Their ships are smaller than others with 461 oceanfront suites, penthouse suites, and residences all with their own private terrace. Explora also offers nine culinary experiences on board and a nearly 1:1 ratio of staff to guests, making sure every traveler's needs are met. Indoor and outdoor pools, vibrant common areas, and large outdoor spaces give guests plenty of freedom to make the ship their own.

Explora's uniqueness really shines with its itineraries. Each trip includes some of the more well-traveled areas in the region mixed with some lesser-known destinations that have plenty for travelers to discover. The company wants guests to feel they can truly immerse themselves in each destination by offering longer stays at each stop and truly unique experiences off the ship. For example, stops on some of Explora's Caribbean itineraries include St. Johns Island where travelers can take a helicopter tour and see the expansive turquoise waters and white sand beaches below. Some trips on the Caribbean itineraries also include stops at Basseterre in Saint Kitts with options to golf at the Royal Saint Kitts Course, take a cooking class, or snorkel through the beautiful waters. Northern Europe offerings include travel to the Scottish Highlands, Iceland, Denmark, and Germany. Travelers can also take journeys through other Mediterranean and European destinations like Spain, Italy, and Greece. In late 2024, Explora will also begin offering journeys on the Red Sea and Arabian peninsula with stops in areas with beautiful landscapes and overflowing with history and culture like Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Oman. |
