I am writing this with a quiet kind of gratitude sitting in my chest, the kind that only shows up after a few days of really living.
Before Napa, there was Disney. Pixie dust, tiny hands reaching for mine, grandkids wide-eyed at every turn, and the beautiful, wonderful, completely exhausting magic that only a Disney trip delivers.
That kind of trip fills your heart in a way nothing else does. It is loud and colorful and fast and absolutely perfect. And then, almost immediately after, Napa. Crackling fire. Cool, quiet morning air. A slow cup of coffee with no schedule pulling at me. Vineyard rows stretching out in every direction, still and golden in the early light. My tribe of girlfriends nearby, nobody rushing anywhere. I sat with that stillness and just let it land. There is something about a peaceful morning by the fire that settles the soul in a way that is hard to put into words. It does not ask anything of you. It just holds you for a minute and lets you breathe. After the pixie dust and the grands, that kind of quiet felt like a gift. Two completely different kinds of magic, back to back. And I needed both of them.
That is actually what I want you to hear in this newsletter, beyond the wine and the itinerary and the long, relaxing dinners catching up with friends. It is that travel, real travel, is not one-size-fits-all. It is not just beaches or just adventure or just luxury. It is knowing what your soul needs in a given season and then designing an experience around that. Sometimes you need the chaos and wonder of Disney with your grandchildren. Sometimes you need sunshine, vineyard views, long talks, and a glass of something extraordinary with women who have known you for years.
Sometimes you need both, and you need them back to back. I traveled to Napa as a guest and as an advisor. I sat in private tastings and paid attention to every detail. I walked through boutique wineries in Sonoma that made me stop mid-sentence because the wine was that good. I watched golden hour settle over the vines and thought, my clients need to see this. I soaked in every conversation around the fire and thought, this is what I want to design for people. I came home inspired in the deepest way. Not just by the beauty of it, which was real and stunning, but by what intentional travel does to a person. It reminds you who you are when you are not buried in your inbox. It gives you back to yourself. That is what I am here to do for you.
So if Napa has been sitting quietly on your wish list, I am telling you now: let's make it happen. Not someday. This year.

Sip. Breathe. Repeat. Picture this: morning light spilling over rows of vineyard vines, a glass of something spectacular already in hand, and not a single thing on your to-do list. That was the reality in Napa Valley, and if you have ever said "I've always wanted to do wine country," consider this your sign.
I did not just visit Napa. I vetted it, lived it, and brought every detail back for you. |
The kind of itinerary you would design if you had zero stress and excellent taste:
Three nights of luxury accommodations. Curated wine tastings at wineries that do not make it onto the standard tourist circuit. Morning yoga to ease into each day. A Napa brunch experience worth the flight alone. And the showstopper: an all-black masquerade dinner aboard the iconic Napa Valley Wine Train. That last one is optional. But honestly, why wouldn't you?
The first vineyard views put the group in vacation mode immediately, and the energy only built from there. The first evening ended fireside, glasses raised, surrounded by good wine and the kind of friends who make travel feel effortless. Sunshine, long conversations, and a lot of laughter filled the days that followed. By day two, we were enjoying a picnic among the redwoods, winding through scenic drives, and discovering two family-owned boutique wineries in Sonoma that stopped the group cold. The kind of wines you will not find at your neighborhood shop.
I LOVE SONOMA. Which is high praise from someone who has seen a lot of the world. There is something about time away with your people that does not just fill your glass. It fills everything else too. These are the friendships and the experiences that only get richer with time. That is not an accident. That is what intentional travel does.
I did not go for myself. I went for you.
Every tasting, every reservation, every golden hour vineyard walk was vetted with one question in mind: would my clients love this? The answer was consistently yes.
That is the VIP Travel Experience difference. I never pull from a generic wine country template. I walk the property, taste the wine, read the room, and come home with firsthand knowledge that no travel blog or booking algorithm can replicate. When I design your Napa itinerary, I already know which cave tour is worth your afternoon and which dinner reservation is non-negotiable. You get the research without doing any of it. That is the point.
