Note: This is my own humble opinion
A FREE AIR FLIGHT, why thank you I think I will.
Yes, having frequent flyer points racking up on purchases you normally purchase is just icing on the cake. I have definitely ERASED (free) air and other travel purchases using my frequent flyer points. I love that I don't have to book travel through a designated credit card company to use my miles.
- Purchase travel through your travel professional as usual, no special requirements or special departments to call to redeem them;
- After purchases are made, you can go online and redeem the miles to erase the travel purchases (of course, there are minimum points required for your desired travel, etc)
- EASY, NO HASSLE, free travel!!
I like Capital One for its frequent flyer mile redemption and for traveling abroad.
Purchases made in a foreign currency normally charge a fee, fortunately some credit cards will waive the fee altogether.
